About Me

Computers have been an influential part of my life since I got a Commodore 64 when I was 11.  I used to type in the programs from Compute’s Gazette and study Basic programming – never did get the magazine programs to work though.  In college, I put my dreams of becoming a programmer aside to study accounting because it seemed like a safer route for finding a job.  Yeah, I wasn’t too sharp at the time.  I still make a lot of mistakes, but I don’t want to look back and regret not learning how to program.

After a lot of research, I choose to focus on Swift and iOS development.  The idea of creating something I can personally use (ie. an iPhone app) is exciting and there are many resources to help me get started.  This site chronicles my complete career change from accounting and finance to programming.  While I may have slowed down a bit mentally, I certainly haven’t given up.

Have a look around and let me know if you have any questions.
